This week we have been exploring water and boats. Our rhyme of the week was row, row, row your boat. We sang our rhyme in loud, quiet, fast and slow voices. We also drew long chalk rivers in the garden and used when playing with small world boats.
In the water tray we looked at using guttering to create water ways for our boats. We also played with a small pirate ship and made a big one on our climbing frame!
In our pen disco we practised drawing circles using colourful scarves. We said “round and stop” as we were making the round movements. We also used circular objects to make printing pictures.
During PE we have been moving around objects when walking and running. This will help us move around our friends in the garden when we are playing,
Next week we will be looking at the shape and colour of leaves in maths. Please could you bring in any autumnal objects you can find - leaves, conkers, pine cones.
