This week we have been talking about the changes between autumn and winter. We looked at the shapes and colours of the leaves that had fallen from the trees and compared them. We looked for leaves that were the same size, shape and colour.
In maths this week we also talked about size. We thought about all the different words we know to describe the size of something. We then grouped different animals according to their size.
Our nursery rhyme this week was Incy Wincy Spider. We talked about the words that rhymed with rain and sun and also clapped syllables from the rhyme.
Our sound of the week was p. We made sure that when we said the p sound it was a short sound. We heard the p sound at the beginning of pizza, pen and pan.
