This week we have been learning about road safety. We talked about how to stay safe when crossing the road by looking and listening for cars. On Wednesday we wrapped up warm and walked to the post box to post letters to Father Christmas. When we were walking, we crossed the road using the pelican crossing.
In our pen disco we continued drawing diagonal lines. We made them as big as possible by reaching up above our head then drawing a line down to our hip. Afterwards we drew lines and patterns in sand.
We used big pieces of paper to draw road maps to drive our toy vehicles on.
Our rhyme of the week this week has been the wheels on the bus. We used words from the rhyme to make long and short sounds.

Our letter sound of the week has been t. We learned to say it in a short way and listened for the t sound at the beginning of words e.g. tiger, toast, teddy. We also listened to the sounds in t words and blended them together e.g. t-o-p top, t-ee-th teeth.
