We have explored the five oceans this week, learning where they are in the world and why they are so important to our planet. We enjoyed listening to ocean music, closing our eyes and using excellent descriptive language to talk about how we can describe the ocean, as well as completing our weekly challenge of writing about an ocean picture.

We will be completing one of our final curriculum ambitions in the next few weeks of writing and posting a letter! We will be looking back at our time in Reception and writing to our families about what we are proud of achieving this year. Please can a stamp be brought in so we can walk to the postbox and send our lovely letters home.
Our final curriculum ambition is to grow and cook our own food - we have been busy growing delicious vegetables in our garden ready to make pasta sauce. Please join us in the Reception garden on Friday 17th July to enjoy some pasta!
