We've had a lovely week at Nursery. We have enjoyed playing in the garden enjoying the sunshine. We have been looking after our plants and giving them water everyday.
This week we have continued learning about the story of the little red hen. We have been retelling the story using actions and puppets. We talked about the characters in the story and how the little red hen feels when her friends won't help her.
In maths this week we thought about the order that the numbers 1-5 go in and how we can check if they are in the right order. We stood in a line holding number blocks and worked out which were bigger numbers and which were smaller.
Our pattern line was vertical straight lines. We noticed that this pattern looks like the letter s. We practised writing it, drawing seaweed to cover up the fish.
