This week we have been learning about Dinosaurs. We share some dinosaur stories that we found in the library. We talked about the different dinosaurs and how some were carnivores and some herbivores.
We used our fine motor skills to cut out triangles to stick on a stegosaurus' back. We made sure that when we are cutting we stayed as close to the line as possible.
In our pen disco we drew squares. When we were drawing each line we counted one, two, three, four to make sure we had the correct number of lines.
At the creative table we have been printing with tubes. We have been investigating how to use the tubes to print and what happens when we use the circles to create pictures.
Our rhyme this week was row, row, row your boat and our sound of the week was e. We noticed that lots of chidlren in the class had the e sound in their names. We also used our voices to make sounds related to the rhyme e.g. splosh, splash, snap.
