English

In English, we have been thinking about how we can be good friends. We are reading How to Look After a Ghost by Rebecca Green.  After finding out how to look after a ghost, we started to write an instruction manual on How to be a Good Friend. We also developed our acting skills by role playing scenarios where we helped a friend in need.

Maths

In Maths, we are exploring Greater than, Less than and Equal to as we compare numbers. We continue to focus on number formation and are beginning to count in 2s, 5s and 10s as we revisit our Year 1 learning.

Topic

In Computing we are learning to debug programmes, using our Indi Robots.

In Science we are learning about healthy eating, designing a healthy balanced meal. We needed to include at least 3 food groups.

In Forest School we had the best time making s’mores over the fire!

In History we discussed Greta Thunberg this week, and she prompted a lot of discussion about how we can help the planet, and who looks after the animals.
