This week we have been learning about the library. We looked at our school library and how it has two different types of books - story books and information books. We looked at the books and found them in the library. We talked about how the information books and story books looked different from each other.

In our pen disco we have been drawing arches and joining them together to make a long chain. We practised drawing them on paper and in sand.

We have also been talking about our feelings and linking them to music. We used percussion instruments to create sounds.

On the art travel we have been learning about the artist Yayoi Kusama and how she used spots to create art. We explored using cotton buds, sticks and fingers in paint to create our own pictures.

Our rhyme this week was “A sailor went to sea, sea, sea.”

Our sounds of the week was “c” . We blended the sounds in the words cat, cup and car.

Thank you to the families that have sent their shop hunt pictures into Tapestry. The children have enjoyed showing their friends the shops that they found.
We would love to see more if anyone else has pictures to send us.
